CoffeeGrams for Android — Privacy Policy

The short version

CoffeeGrams does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. The only non-Android-platform library the app includes is Google Play Billing, used solely to process the one-time Pro purchase (see below) — it does not collect data on our behalf.

What data the app handles

• Your brew log (the brews you save, along with any ratings and notes) is stored only on your device, in a local Room (SQLite) database. It never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
• Purchases. The one-time “CoffeeGrams Pro” purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment details.
• Notifications. Cold-brew and French-press reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device, not sent through any server. While a guided brew is actively running, the app also keeps a low-priority ongoing notification visible (an Android foreground service) so the timer can keep counting if you switch away — this is purely to keep the brew session alive on-device and involves no data leaving your device either.

What we do NOT do

• We do not collect personal data.
• We do not use analytics or advertising.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not use any third-party SDKs beyond Google Play Billing, which only processes the one-time Pro purchase.

Children

CoffeeGrams is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
